Physical Description: Junk is a pretty girl with some slightly awkward features though. Her eyes are rather large and tend to bug out at times and her lips are very full. She can’t tan to save her life and is always a rather pale young woman. She has long deep brown hair that has a tendency to curl. The one thing that most notice about Junk first though is her figure on a just barely 5’6" frame. Junk was blessed with an hourglass figure like out of a 40s pinup, she has a very substantial chest and wide hips with a tapered waist that has just been exaggerated due to eating what you can when you can find it.

Personality: Marching to the tune of her own drummer Junk never bothered to even think of conforming to the social norms around her. She is a strong woman with a strong personality. She knows what she believes in and she sticks to it.

While many would expect Junk to be a closed of person she really isn’t. She is open and accepting of others if they show themselves to be that way with her. Under all the dirt and tomboy tendencies is a rather caring person.

Junk isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer but she is a useful one. From working along side her father for so long she picked up many mechanical skills and an affinity with metal. If it is broken there is a good chance she can fix it and if it should be made of metal there is a good chance she can build it.

Personal History: Divorce is never easy and it wasn’t easy for Lewis and Tabitha Heart. They had married young and it just hadn’t worked out. What the both of them hadn’t expected though was to find out as soon as the divorce was final that Tabitha was pregnant. It had been what caused the split to begin with. Lewis had wanted kids and Tabitha was content with her teaching career and dealing with other people’s children. The decided though that Lewis would get custody and Tabitha would have control of their child’s education.

Alice came squalling in to the world on February 14. She was a cherished child by her father and something of indifference with her mother. Alice grew up in a world of strange oddities; Alice grew up in a junkyard. Heart Salvage had been on the side of the Belle Fourche River for as long as most of Sundance could remember. It wasn’t exactly an eye sore but it wasn’t what most would consider a good environment to raise a little girl. Alice adored it from the day she could walk though.

From the time Alice started school she attended the local private schools. Her mother worked for the high school and thought it would be best. Alice could have cared less she didn’t really like school all that much and would have much preferred playing in the junkyard with her father. It was that sentiment alone that would carry Alice into the art rooms of her schools and by the time she was a freshman in high school Alice was making metal sculptures that left people in awe. She had a skill with art and a welding torch that could have taken her anywhere.

When the Blue Midnight Traveling Carnival and Freak Show rolled into town in May of 2015 when she was fifteen she hadn’t expected it to become such a big deal. Her father ended up heading out to it when they needed some help fixing some things and Alice even donned her welding helmet for the circus a few times during their stay. The thing that truly caught her attention about the circus though was a young man by the name of Blaze, or Alex as his mother insisted on calling him. He tended to hang around when she was welding for the sheer novelty of it. The guy apparently really liked fire. Alice hadn’t meant to start flirting, but he was going to burn his eyeballs out for watching her weld without eye protection and the conversation she had started just seemed to drift to flirting. Alice was rather shocked with herself because she didn’t flirt. She usually had better things to do with her time and what have you. The friendship they forged in what little time they had together would be something Alice clung to for years. Let alone the feel of Blaze’s lips on her own when they told each other good bye.

The friendship didn’t end with the traveling of the circus and they kept up with each other with Blaze sending post cards and letters. Knowing she had a friend other than the rejects she went to high school with was a blessing for someone who didn’t fit in as much as Alice did. When April of 2016 rolled around and Blue Midnight rolled into town with it Alice even skipped school to find Blaze. The saying absence makes the heart grow fonder couldn’t have been truer for the two of them and before Blaze left again the two of them were sneaking off to be alone with each other. Her daddy ended up dragging her away from one of them; thankfully it wasn’t the one that would give her, her greatest treasure.

Alice’s father had told her while they were nice people he wanted better for her than some traveling nobody. Alice had been planning on running off with Blaze had her father not locked her in the Junkyard and she didn’t even get to say goodbye to Blaze when they left that year. Alice was devastated when no postcards came, no letters from Blaze. She cried her tears in private and didn’t let her father know. Two months later though Alice was sitting in the Sundance Women’s clinic wondering what the hell she was going to tell her father. She was only sixteen and here she was pregnant.

The months that followed were hard on Alice. She was kicked out of private school and forced to go to the public school but she decided she wasn’t getting rid of her baby. Her mother stopped even speaking to her and her father became distant. Alice really didn’t have anyone and the one person who had truly touched her heart had stopped writing. Alice decided in those first hard months she was not going to hold it against her child.

Alice gave birth to Keegan Alex on the January 03, 2017. Keegan was the prettiest thing Alice swears she had ever seen and her opinion has never changed. Not long after she gave birth Alice got her GED and with a bit of work became a certified welder. She had to find a way to support herself and Keegan.

When next the circus came into town the world was falling around everyone’s ears. Alice was trying to take care of her son while her father wasted away. Lewis was one of the unlucky first ones in Sundance to fall victim to the Ans virus once it turned airborn. Alice quit her job to continue running the junk yard and not long after the world just all seemed to fall apart and she was locking the gate not letting anyone in. Weeks would pass before two familiar faces came knocking on her gate and Alice with baby in arm walked to the gate. Blaze and Hazard had come to bring her into the fold of one of the many groups forming around Sundance. Junk locked her gate and followed the two and became one of the first members of the Carrion tribe. Not long after Alice became Junk and little Keegan thanks to the reemergence of an old friend became Tootles.
